2. Should I choose a hair topper or a full wig?

A hair topper is usually suitable if you still have healthy hair around the sides and back of your head but need more coverage or volume on top.

A full wig may be more suitable if:

  1. You want complete coverage;
  2. Your hair loss affects a larger area;
  3. You prefer to change your entire hairstyle;
  4. You want a product that does not need to blend with much of your natural hair.

For customers experiencing a widening part or thinning crown, a 5x5, 6x6 or 7x7 topper is often a good place to start.

For customers who want a simple, secure and beginner-friendly option, a glueless bob wig may be easier to wear.


3. How do I choose the correct topper base size?

The base size should cover the thinning area and overlap slightly with stronger natural hair around it.

As a general guide:

  1. 5x5: Light thinning or a narrow parting area;
  2. 6x6: Moderate thinning around the part and crown;
  3. 7x7: Wider thinning and greater coverage;
  4. 8x8: More extensive crown coverage.

Measure the area you want to cover from front to back and from side to side.

The clips should attach to stronger natural hair rather than directly onto a fragile or sensitive area.

4. How do I choose the right wig or cap size?

Use a soft measuring tape to measure around your head, following the natural hairline, behind the ears and around the nape.

You may also need to measure:

  1. Front to nape;
  2. Ear to ear;
  3. Temple to temple;
  4. Circumference.

5. How can I choose the right hair colour?

We understand that choosing a colour from a screen can be difficult.

Hair colour may appear different depending on:

  5. Your natural hair colour;
  6. The surrounding hair you need to blend with.

6. Are Partelle Hair products ready to wear?

Most of our glueless wigs and hair toppers are designed to be beginner-friendly and can be worn after basic adjustment.

However, human-hair products may need light styling after being removed from the packaging because the hair can take on the shape of the box during storage and transport.

You may need to:

  1. Gently shake or comb the hair;
  2. Adjust the parting;
  3. Lightly mist it with water;
  4. Style it using low or moderate heat;
  5. Blend the topper with your natural hair;
  6. Adjust the straps or clips.

Some products may benefit from professional cutting or styling to suit your face shape and preferred look.

Always check the product page to see whether the item is pre-styled, pre-cut or customised.


7. Do I need glue to wear Partelle Hair wigs?

Our glueless wigs are designed to be worn without glue.

Depending on the product, they may use:

  1. Adjustable straps;
  2. Elastic bands;
  3. Internal combs;
  4. A secure cap construction;
  5. Pre-cut or ready-to-adjust lace.

Some customers may still choose to use wig tape or another fixation method for additional security, but this is usually optional.

Always follow the product instructions and stop using any adhesive product if it causes irritation.


8. Are Partelle Hair products made from human hair?

Many Partelle Hair toppers and wigs are made with human hair, but the exact material is stated on each product page.

Human hair generally offers:

  1. A natural appearance;
  2. Greater styling flexibility;
  3. The ability to curl or straighten the hair;
  4. Better blending with natural hair;
  5. A longer potential lifespan when properly cared for.

Different products may use different hair grades, base constructions and processing methods.

9. Can I use heat on my wig or topper?

Human-hair products can usually be styled with a hairdryer, curling iron or straightener.

We recommend:

  1. Using a heat-protection product;
  2. Starting at a low temperature;
  3. Avoiding excessive or repeated heat;
  4. Testing a small section first;
  5. Keeping heated tools away from the base, lace and clips.

If a product contains synthetic or heat-resistant fibres, follow the maximum temperature stated on the product page.

Excessive heat may permanently damage the hair or base and may affect return eligibility.


10. How do I wash a human-hair wig or topper?

Wash the product only when necessary.

Before washing:

  1. Gently remove tangles from the ends upwards;
  2. Use cool or lukewarm water;
  3. Use a mild shampoo suitable for wigs or processed human hair;
  4. Avoid rubbing, twisting or soaking the base for too long;
  5. Apply conditioner mainly to the mid-lengths and ends;
  6. Rinse thoroughly;
  7. Gently press out excess water with a towel;
  8. Allow the product to air-dry on a suitable stand.

Do not brush the hair aggressively while it is wet.

Avoid heavy oils or conditioner close to the knots, lace, mono base or attachment areas, as this may cause shedding or loosen the construction.

11. How long will my wig or topper last?

The lifespan of a hairpiece depends on:

  1. How often it is worn;
  2. How it is washed;
  3. Heat styling;
  4. Chemical treatments;
  5. Storage;
  6. Daily friction;
  7. The product construction;
  8. The customer’s care routine.

Human-hair products can last significantly longer when they are rotated, handled gently and cared for correctly.

Hairpieces are not permanent products. Some shedding and gradual wear are normal over time.


12. Where will my order be shipped from?

Partelle Hair uses a dual-fulfilment system.

Depending on stock availability, product configuration and delivery destination, your order may be shipped from:

  1. Our fulfilment facility in Italy;
  2. Our manufacturing or fulfilment partner in China.

European orders may be prioritised for fulfilment from Italy when stock is available.

If an item is not available in Italy, it may be shipped directly from China.

Customers cannot normally select the dispatch warehouse.

If your order contains products stored at different locations, it may arrive in separate parcels with different tracking numbers.


13. How long does delivery take?

Estimated delivery times begin after your order has been processed and dispatched.

Typical estimates are:

  1. Italy warehouse to Italy: approximately 1–3 business days;
  2. Italy warehouse to main EU destinations: approximately 3–7 business days;
  3. China warehouse to Europe: approximately 7–15 business days;
  4. Remote areas or islands: additional time may be required.

Most in-stock products are processed within 1–3 business days.

Products requiring quality inspection, personalisation or custom preparation may take longer.

14. Will I need to pay customs duties or import taxes?

For European Union orders, we aim to display or include applicable VAT and use tax-prepaid or duties-paid delivery methods for qualifying shipments from China where stated.

If your EU order was sold as taxes and duties included, you should not normally be required to pay an additional import charge when the parcel arrives.

For destinations outside the European Union, customs duties, import VAT or carrier fees may apply unless checkout expressly states that they are included.

15. Can I return a wig or hair topper?

Eligible products may be returned in accordance with our Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy.

For qualifying European Union distance purchases, you may generally notify us of your decision to withdraw within 14 days after receiving the order.

To qualify for a full refund, the product should be returned:

  1. Unwashed;
  2. Uncut;
  3. Uncoloured;
  4. Unaltered;
  5. Free from perfume, smoke, makeup and styling products;
  6. With the original tags, packaging and accessories;
  7. Without trimmed lace;
  8. With any applicable hygiene seal intact.

Products that have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them may be subject to a reduction in refund value where permitted by law.

Custom-made or clearly personalised products may not qualify for change-of-mind returns.

This does not affect your rights if the product is defective, damaged, incorrect or materially different from its description.

16. Can I exchange my product for another colour or size?

We do not normally offer automatic direct exchanges.

The fastest option is usually to:

  1. Submit a return request for the eligible original product;
  2. Wait for return approval;
  3. Place a new order for the preferred colour, size or style.

This helps reduce delays and prevents the replacement product from selling out while the original return is in transit.


17. Can I return a customised product?

Products made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised may not qualify for a standard change-of-mind return.

This may include:

  1. Custom cap measurements;
  2. Custom density;
  3. Custom colour blending;
  4. Custom hairline work;
  5. Custom cutting or styling;
  6. Custom bleaching or knot work;
  7. Pre-cut lace requested specifically by the customer.

Selecting a standard option available to all customers, such as a standard length or standard colour, does not automatically make a product personalised.

Customised products are still covered if they are defective, incorrectly produced or do not match the agreed specifications.


18. What should I do if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If the parcel or product is damaged, incorrect or incomplete, contact us promptly and provide:

  1. Your order number;
  2. A photograph of the shipping label;
  3. Photographs of the outer parcel;
  4. Photographs or video showing the product issue;
  5. Photographs of all products received.

Do not discard the packaging until we have reviewed the case.

Once the issue has been confirmed, we will provide an appropriate solution, which may include replacement, reshipment, repair, price reduction or refund.

20. Are Partelle Hair wigs medical devices?

Partelle Hair wigs, toppers and hairpieces are sold as cosmetic hair products and fashion accessories unless a specific product is expressly identified and legally certified otherwise.

They are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure alopecia, cancer-related hair loss, scalp conditions or any other medical condition.

We do not describe a product as a medical device unless the required certification and regulatory conditions have been satisfied.

Customers seeking information about medical reimbursement, tax benefits or healthcare funding should consult the relevant authority, insurer or healthcare provider in their country.


21. Can I wear a topper if I have a sensitive scalp?

Some customers with a sensitive scalp prefer lightweight toppers, soft base constructions or glueless products.

However, suitability depends on your individual condition and sensitivity.

Before regular use:

  1. Check where the clips or combs attach;
  2. Avoid attaching clips to weak or irritated hair;
  3. Limit wearing time at first;
  4. Stop using the product if you experience pain, redness or irritation;
  5. Consult a qualified healthcare professional if you have an active scalp condition.

22. Where is Partelle Hair located?

Partelle Hair is operated by a Hong Kong registered company and serves customers online.

We use fulfilment locations in Italy and China to support European delivery and product availability.

Our customer service and online consultation services are provided remotely.

We do not currently operate a public walk-in retail store unless expressly stated on our website.
